Seongnam FC held the ‘Magpie Together’ program with Dolma Elementary School (Dolma Cho) on the morning of the 8th.

‘Magpie Together’ is a program in which Seongnam FC players visit elementary schools in Seongnam to promote healthy physical activity among local children through soccer recreation and clinics.

Seongnam’s Lee Ji-hoon and Jung Seung-yong joined the magpies after their summer vacation. Dolma Elementary School is a school with a large number of young Seongnam fans who attend the team’s home games and away trips, so the program received a lot of attention beforehand.

After a quick warm-up, the players taught the children how to pass and dribble in an easy and fun way, and they joined in with sparkling eyes. Mini-games followed to liven up the atmosphere in the gym.

Lee Ji-hoon said, “I felt like I was back to my childhood with the kids. From my friend who signed the club’s autographed ball to the kids who told me they were Seongnam fans, it actually gave me strength. I hope it will be a good memory for them as well,” he said.

Through ‘Magpie Together’, which began in May, the club has met with more than 700 children in and around Seongnam, and by inviting students who participate in the program to serve as team escorts for home games and maintaining relationships with schools, ‘Magpie Together’ has brought more than 800 family fans to Tancheon Sports Complex in the second half of the year.안전놀이터

The club plans to run ‘Magpie Together’ for the rest of the year to help elementary school students in Seongnam have healthy physical education classes while gaining interest in football and becoming longtime fans of the club.
