Chelsea legend ‘in negotiations’ to join Southgate’s division

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (50) is moving to coach the England national team.

England’s The 먹튀검증 Sun reported on the 16th (Korean time) that “Chelsea legend Hasselbachink is negotiating to join Gareth Southgate’s division.”

Southgate’s contract expires in December 2024. After being eliminated in the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, some ‘early hard rumors’ were raised, but the English Football Association (FA) decided to continue their accompaniment. However, he said, Gates is looking for a replacement for coach Powell, whose contract has expired. The media reported that coach Powell left the national team after telling the FA and Southgate that he would focus on his role as Tottenham academy manager.

Hasselbaink is currently unemployed. He has not been able to take his place after resigning as manager of Burton Albion in September of last year, and it is as if Southgate manager approached him.

The media said, “Hasselbaink’s move will not only give opportunities to more black coaches within the England national team, but will also continue the FA’s promise to improve diversity in football.”

Meanwhile, Hasselbaink was born in Suriname but played for the Netherlands. He was one of the strikers who dominated the English Premier League (EPL) in the 1990s and early 2000s, scoring 69 goals in 136 league appearances for Chelsea.
