Anyang High School, Gunsan High School Completed Preliminaries (Southern High School Comprehensive)

The South High School Division,ㅋㅋㅋ벳 which finished the preliminaries, heads for the final tournament.

Anyang High School won 91-76 in the last match of the preliminaries against Gunsan High School in the 2023 Federation Presidency held at Gimcheon Gymnasium on the 5th. Anyang High School, which succeeded in winning two games in a row, went to the finals.

Anyang High School put forward an even score distribution with 5 players including Bae Hyun-sik (17 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists), Yoon Yong-jun (16 points and 2 assists), and Kang Ji-ho (11 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists) scoring double-digit points.

Anyang High School, which finished the first quarter with a score of 20-16, increased its momentum in the second quarter. Choi Ji-ho and Lee Sang-yoon’s scoring continued the atmosphere, and even Kang Ji-ho’s 3-point shot cut through the rim and ran further. Yoon Yong-Jun scored 8 points and Anyang High School finished the first half with a score of 40-30.

Even in the second half, Anyang High School’s performance was stable. Yoon Yong-Jun and Kim Min-Gyu’s 3-point shot cut the rim and ran further, and Seok Jun-Hui even made a supporting shot. In the 4th quarter, freshman Jeong Jae-yeop scored 10 points and took the lead in the attack, and Anyang High School, which maintained its concentration until the end, kept the victory.

Meanwhile, all of the South High School preliminaries have been completed. In Group A, Muryonggo, who had won 3 matches in a row, confirmed the final early. The remaining one spot was tied with Myongji High School, Sangsan Electronic High School, and Busan Jungang High School with 1 win and 2 losses, but Myongji High School headed to the finals with a goal difference advantage.

In Group B, Dong-A High won 3 wins, followed by Dong-A High School with 2 wins and 1 loss. In Group C, Ananggo and Jemulpogo passed the preliminary round with 1 win and 1 loss.

In Group D, Hongdae High School with 3 wins and Daejeon High School with 2 wins and 1 loss were named. In Group E, fate was mixed on the last day. Whimoon High School, led by Seo Jeong-gu, and Naksaeng High School, led by Kang Min-soo and Hwang Ji-min, defeated Yeosu Hwayang High School, where Park In-seop struggled, and Samil High School, where Ko Chan-yu struggled, respectively, and succeeded in advancing to the finals with 2 wins and 1 loss.

In Group F, Yongsan High School, where Jang Hyuk-jun played a big role, passed the preliminary round with three consecutive victories. Despite losing 70-91 to Yongsan High School that day, Yangjeong High School passed the preliminary round with 2 wins and 1 loss.

In Group G, Cheonan Ssangyong High School defeated Gwangshin Broadcasting High School 65-59 after a close match. Cheonan Ssangyong High School and Gwangshin Broadcasting High School headed to the finals in Group G, where three schools, including Cheong Shinheung High School, tied with 1 win and 1 loss.

In the last Group H, Jeon High School defeated Masan High School 94-69 with Jin Hyun-min and Park Ya-bes at the forefront, and headed to the finals with two consecutive victories. Bae Jae-go followed up with 1 win and 1 loss, confirming their advance to the finals.
